Julia Cranston

Lead Coach

I moved out of our camper van and into Squamish when I was 3 years old which is also when I first learned to ride a bike. I am a typical Squamish kid who loves travel, climbing, hiking, canoeing and especially biking. I'm happiest being outside in nature, especially when I'm ripping down a trail and pushing my mental and physical boundaries.

I have been riding a bike since I could remember!

I enjoy coaching because I am able to teach new, younger riders all about my favorite sport. Watching as riders improve their skills during a training session is cool and it makes me feel empowered to make a difference. I feel ecstatic when I see young rider's discovering their joy of biking.

We are all accountable to one another and the land in which we learn, play, live, work and adventure.

At Hilltop MTB, we are on a continuous journey to learning and understanding more about those that were here before us, and that are still here.

We are grateful to be guests here on the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, as we continue to work in a good way to build meaningful relationships and connections.
